We keep a select range of bedding plant seed and also offer instead a broad range of perennials and more unusual specimen plants, including a strong range of grasses. We also stock a useful range of direct drilled annuals and wild flower mixes, for ground cover on a small scale or over larger areas of prairie style plantings.
CN Seeds Ltd is a family company established in 1990 serving professional growers with a wide range of herb, vegetable and flower seeds from our base near Ely in Cambridgeshire. We are able to offer small pack sizes and a low minimum order threshold to suit the small grower or smallholder and promise good customer service from our warehouse team. Most of our prices include cost of delivery to UK mainland addresses. International deliveries (including UK offshore) we charge delivery at cost. Sales outside Europe may be subject to Import restrictions.
Our Product Range
CN Seeds specialise in herbs and leafy salads, we offer a wide range of traditional and innovative leaf products for the babyleaf fresh cut and bagged salads. Look for the new varieties of red leaf pak choi and komatsuna and new herb varieties for pot production or cut product. There are several new introductions ideal for the emerging microgreen market, also a purpose made growing medium, GrowFelt, specifically for microleaf production.

We also have a good selection of vegetables for farm shop and retail plant sales.

Vigorous selection, large mid green leaves, slightly savoyed. Fit for harvest from 20-50cm. The popular Calaloo in Caribbean cuisine, for steaming, stir-fries or soups. Optimum growing temperatures 15-20C. A good crop for cold glasshouse or polytunnel.

Chefs love this intense cherry red selection of the Amaranth family. Young leaves are tender and nutritious and have a delicate pea-like flavour. Plants are not very hardy but grow vigorously in summer, forming a sprig of leaves for salad or garnish. Useful for babyleaf or microgreen. Note:- a small percentage of green plants can be expected.
